Templates
A template defines a property type or layout within a complex — like '1BR Villa' or 'Studio Apartment'.
What Is a Template?
A Template is the third level in the property hierarchy. It belongs to a Complex and describes a type of property layout. For example, a complex might have "1BR Villa", "2BR Villa", and "Studio" templates. Each template can have multiple individual Units.
Creating a Template
Navigate to CMS → Template and click the create button.
- Name — the template name (e.g., "1BR Villa").
- Complex — select which complex this template belongs to.
Template Details
After creation, edit the template to configure all the details that describe this property type. The form is organized into the following categories:
Building
Describe the physical structure and layout of the property.
- Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Toilets, Floors — number of rooms and levels in the property.
- Building Size (m²), Land Size (m²), Ceiling Height (m) — dimensions of the property and its plot.
- Kitchen Type — open, closed, or none.
- Pool Type — private, shared, or none.
- Balcony, Terrace, Storage Room — toggle whether these features are available.
Atmosphere
Describe the environment and ambiance of the property so tenants know what to expect.
- Noise Level — from silent to noisy, helps tenants who need a quiet environment.
- Light Level — from very bright to dark, indicates natural lighting conditions.
- Sun Direction — which direction the property faces (east, west, north, south, or multiple).
Services
Specify which housekeeping and maintenance services are included in the rental.
- Cleaning Included — whether regular cleaning is provided, and how often (daily, weekly, etc.).
- Linen Change Frequency — how often bed linens and towels are replaced.
- Trash Removal Included — whether trash collection is provided, and how often.
Utilities
Indicate which utilities are included in the rental price. Each utility also has a notes field where you can add details such as usage limits or provider information.
- Electricity Included — whether electricity costs are covered.
- Gas Included — whether cooking gas is provided.
- Water Included — whether water supply is covered.
- Drinking Water Included — whether bottled or filtered drinking water is provided.
- Internet Included — whether Wi-Fi or wired internet is included.
Parking
Describe the parking arrangements available at the property.
- Parking Type — the kind of parking available: street, open, covered, garage, underground, or shared.
- Suitable For — whether the parking fits a car, a bike (scooter), or both.
Workspace
Important for remote workers and digital nomads — specify whether the property has a dedicated work area.
- Office Available — whether there is a dedicated workspace.
- Office Type — private office, shared office, or coworking space.
- Office Notes — additional details, such as desk setup, air conditioning, or monitor availability.
Publishing & Media
Control the visibility of this template and manage its visual content.
- Thumbnail — select which uploaded photo to use as the main preview image.
- Show in search — toggle whether units of this template appear in public listings.
- Media gallery — upload photos that represent this property type (floor plans, interior shots).
Templates share common characteristics — if all 1BR villas look the same, upload the photos once at the template level instead of repeating them for every unit.
Templates and Units
Units inherit all settings from their parent template — building details, atmosphere, services, utilities, parking, and workspace. This means you only need to fill in the information once at the template level. Individual units can additionally set their own pricing (per night, week, month, or year) and appliance list, which are unit-specific fields not available on templates.
Viewing Related Entities
From a template's detail page, you can see all Units created under it and its media gallery. You can create new units directly from the template view.
Next Step
Create individual Units under your template — these are the actual rentable properties that tenants will apply for.
